I wore many hats at this job. I created graphics/video for clients for multiple occasions, Holidays, daily specials, events, and promotions. I would create the content, then post it to the corresponding social media platform it should be posted on, (ex. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc). I monitored those posts and replied to them daily. I created content in Photoshop, Instagram, and Premiere.
I worked in production of mobile apps. I edited videos to go on the “Showcase” button on the mobile apps that were created for car dealerships. The video includes either picture videos, running footage, or a mixture of both. The video includes a voice over and text that goes over the video. The showcase button includes select pictures of the vehicle and the brochure.
If I was not editing videos I was helping on the production side with creating and building the mobile app, adding in location targeting, creating the app backgrounds, or even contacting clients. I was the in-between person when it came to talking with the other departments (sign-up team, customer success, owner, etc) to make sure the apps are being developed correctly on each end and help make sure everyone was on the same page.
Worked in advertisement sales. Popular products were given to me and I shot beauty shots of the product (video and pictures) and in-use shots of how the product is used. Shots were then edited into a video and uploaded to the company website and YouTube.
Extra curricular activity put on by the school. I was a lead video editor who also worked with using sound, a boom mic, and filming with a DSLR camera. Bands were filmed playing their songs then interviewed to learn more about them, then I edited the videos into a 7-12 minute long video.
Customer service, cash flow, file management and upkeep, contacted clients and answered phones; used Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on a daily basis.
Received a degree in Animation and Game Design. Learned more on video editing, animation, and story boarding. Used Maya, Unity, Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere almost every day.
General Education, learned basic video editing and graphic design skills.
